nice and happy day today, though it didnt start off well. morning was tiring, trying to dig out some old doccuments in the dusty and dark storeroom. faced some problems with it and didnt manage to find it in the end. the worse thing was... manager managed to find it in the end. =/
the day goes on with loads of work to do. since it was the last day of the month, reports are due. adding on, namecards have already been received, got to do some checking. stamping was as usual, a routine job. logo claims to be completed so that some of the claims can make it before the 3 months limit. was seriously unable to cope, no idea how to handle it other than to complete some work by ot-ing. totally freak out in the morning, was stressing over it, mood was bad, been rather quiet the whole morning. thank god, things went fine after taking a break at lunch.
colleagues offered their help, and managed to complete some tasks faster. yet by 6 (knock-off time), i havent even touch my report. i knew ot couldnt solve my problem, i definitely cant finish within an hour or two. was freaking out again, and at this moment, the phone rang and it was sharon (my colleague). heh, she asked me to her room... and comes the surprise gift!
really really didnt expect a gift (cause im only a temp staff)! and i must say... the gift really comes at the right time.
it was v nice of them to give such an ex gift to a temp staff like me, it was a Agnes b bag accompanied with a v sweet card.
the surprise really made my day despite all the draining work for the entire day.
was touched. to add on, boss came over to offer me food before he leaves the office to at least make sure that i wasnt too hungry to carry on my work. considering the fact that i seldom talk or even greet him, it was really really really very thoughtful of him. im just feeling scared to talk to the heads, i will stutter, look anywhere else but their eyes, and give single-word replies. ive no idea why. =/
anyway, im REALLY REALLY HAPPY. from the bottom of my heart, i must say im really thankful for their concerns, love (aww... mushy i know) & everything else. feel kinda bad now, thinking that ive actually been planning to quit due to the heavy workload/low pay/problems with teamwork-ing. shall work harder to make the situation turns out better.
still, for the third time, i really thank them (jasey, kate, ah lei, sharon, yvonne, timpa, madeline, clarence, christina, kim...) sincerely.
