im having cravngs for all sorts of food now. long john, pizza (VERY), subway, ice-blended mocha, banquet's sliced fish meehoon, westcoast hawker's steak, chilled sandwich and... ajisen's tomyam la mian. anyone who is free for dinner, pls sms me and we can arrange... haha...

anyway, this month's issue of the seventeen mag is not bad. haha, they offer 17 ways of spending time alone and i find them pretty useful. ahh, comes at the right time. but of the 17 methods, ive tried 6 already.

listing some of the stuff which i feel like trying, as recommended on seventeen:

1. cook something
love thinking up new receipes? test your culinary skills by preparing a nice three-course meal for yourself. Then sit down and savour it.
(sounds very cool isnt it? but apparently my culinary skills are limited. then the more i should give it a try! at most lao sai alone. =X)

2.Make like a Tourist
Explore a heritage neighbourhood or vibrant areas such as Arab Street or little india and Chinatown and take in all their distinctive sights, smells and sounds.
(can go and get some vintage stuff and take nice photos as well. i would prefer to go with a friend though)

3. Look good for nothing
Spend the afternoon trying on outfits and shoes in all your fave stores. this is a great way to find your style.
(would love to do it, but sg's salespersons' service arent very good. they probably give you black faces if you try 2o pcs and end up not buying. still, i want to try... and with a friend preferably, haha, im too hum to do it alone.)

4. Hit the books.
Browse the library or bookstore and look for tittles that grab your interest. who knows what treasures you might stumble upon.
(im currently doing so. borrowed 3 books on saturday and i have yet to flip a single page. sleeping on the bus seems to be more enjoyable than reading a book, coming online before bedtime seems better than reading a book. shit. however, i would like to go to kino one day... muahaha... volunteers? like carmen? ops.)

alright, time to go and sleep (again) so that i can stop knocking onto the passenger sitting beside me every morning.
